Celebrating and Recognizing Our Lab Professionals

At EHS, we wanted to celebrate our laboratory professionals, and we took the opportunity to do so during the National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, which was held during the last week of April.

Our lab technicians and professionals do an amazing job!  Now more than ever, our lab staff are working hard collecting samples, performing tests and processing results.

We are deeply grateful to them and we wanted to let them know how much we appreciate the work they do.

In the pictures you can see George Zeinieh, Head of our Laboratory, along with his laboratory team receiving our certificates of appreciation in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

Laboratory professionals play a vital role in the health care system. They provide the tests necessary for accurate diagnoses and the information necessary to understand how outbreaks and other health problems are affecting a community. By identifying outbreaks, medical laboratory professionals help prevent its spread.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics there are approximately 300,000 clinical laboratory science professionals in the United States.
