Some may be curious as to what happens when you report misconduct or other concerns to the Compliance Hotline. In an ideal situation, there are sufficient details of who, what, when, where, and how. An investigation plan is initiated, subjects are interviewed, and evidence is gathered. Once all the questions are answered, the disposition of the case is determined. Disciplinary action may be taken, policies and procedures may be updated, processes may change, and education is conducted with affected individuals or departments.
All parties involved are warned about our policy on retaliation and our zero tolerance of any form. Swift and appropriate action will be taken for those who violate the retaliation policy.
Often cases that are reported to the Compliance Hotline do not provide sufficient information to conduct a full and thorough investigation. Cases will be investigated to the extent possible with the information provided but the results may be inconclusive without sufficient detail. When calling the hotline, please provide as much detail as possible.
