EHS was recently granted the Joint Commission accreditation for Laboratory and Point-of-Care Testing at all four locations: Texas Emergency Hospital, Deerbrook Emergency Hospital, EHS- HOPD Porter, and EHS- HOPD The Woodlands.
The accreditation process included an exhaustive survey of all its services under Joint Commission standards, including Routine Chemistry, Endocrinology, Toxicology, Coagulation, Hematology, and Blood Transfusion Services. For George Zeinieh, EHS Laboratory Director, the main goal of the laboratories is “to provide excellent services throughout all of our network of hospitals and outpatient departments.”
