Healthcare Foodservice Week ™ ” was October 4-10, 2020, and at Texas Emergency Hospital we took the time to honor and recognize our healthcare food and nutrition professionals for their performance and for the integral role they play in helping employees and patients stay well-nourished and healthy.
This year’s theme was “Healthcare Foodservice: Heroes Work Here.”, And nothing more appropriate during this time of pandemic. Healthcare food service professionals have been coming to work every day to take care of our patients, residents, and co-workers. They risked their own health daily to take care of others’ needs.
Healthcare foodservice workers play an important role in the day-to-day operation of Texas Emergency Hospital. They cater and serve community residents and prepare healthy meals for patients with various health needs. The cafeteria is open to the public Monday thru Friday from 700 am to 200 pm.
