We are excited to introduce Jody Meads, RN and Nurse Manager at Emergency Hospital Systems, Porter. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, enriching our commitment to exceptional healthcare services.

With over twenty-five years of senior leadership and managerial roles in multi-million-dollar companies, Jody’s professional journey is inspiring. Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, he is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Paramedic with over twenty-two years of experience in the public and private emergency medical service industry.

Jody’s career has taken him across the globe, where he practiced medicine in various countries, including West and South Africa, Trinidad, and Tobago while working for ExxonMobil. His diverse experiences range from rural and urban emergency medicine to clinical emergency medicine and industrial safety/medical programs. Renowned for his innovative thinking and a patient-centric approach, he has a successful track record of maximizing revenue while delivering value to patients and organizations.

Jody’s managerial expertise spans over fifteen years, with a significant portion dedicated to public service. He led the Harris County Emergency Services District 1-Houston for twelve years, showcasing his commitment to serving the community.

Jody’s colleagues consider him a specialist in critical care patient management and transportation. He excels at treating severely injured and ill patients. He has three associate degrees and a bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing a Nurse Practitioner degree at Mercy State University in New York, specializing in pediatric care and emergency pediatric care.

Jody has been married for almost 23 years. He enjoys the peacefulness of fishing and boating. We are privileged to have Jody Meads as part of our team here at Emergency Hospital Systems, where his
dedication to exceptional healthcare and unwavering commitment to service enriches our daily mission.
