CELEBRATING NATIONAL HEALTH CENTERS WEEK
#NHCW2020
National Health Center Week (NHCW) was August 9 – 15, and EHS took the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the important role that health centers play in the community.
NHCW is an annual celebration that is held with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers.
The theme for this year was: “Community Health Centers: Lighting the Way for Healthier Communities Today and Tomorrow!”. And nothing is more true than this! Community health centers pave the way for healthier communities being a model of strength, service, and care.
During this pandemic, health centers have been doing an extraordinary job, as they have been treating patients while fighting on the front lines against COVID-19. This year, the 2020 NHCW has been focused in honoring those front-line providers, staff, and beloved patients who lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Emergency Hospital Systems (EHS) visited the Health Center of Southeast Texas to show its appreciation and recognition for all that they do for the community. We are glad and proud to collaborating with the Health Center of Southeast Texas in building a healthier and safer community.
