Quality And Infection Control Appreciation Week

The third week of October we had a lot to celebrate as it was National Healthcare Quality Week and International Infection Prevention Week, and we did so by recognizing our EHS professionals that work in these critical areas.

Our quality team plays a critical role in our system as they ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care. They also implement the tools and protocols that help improve patient safety and outcomes. Their work means higher quality care for everyone.

We are very proud of our quality team for their talent, dedication and hard work, and very grateful to them for the incredible work they do every day. National Health Quality Week aims to raise awareness of the positive impact quality professionals have in the healthcare industry.

We also celebrated and honored our infection control team. They have been doing an incredible job keeping our patients, staff, and community safe from infectious threats, such as COVID-19, healthcare-associated infections, flu, and others.

International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) aims to shed light on the infection prevention profession each year. This year’s theme was “Make Your Intention Infection Prevention”.
