The Clinical Skills Fairs are designed to ensure competencies in clinical nursing skills that are used daily to provide optimal care for patients.   Skills Fairs represent a great way to keep skills of the healthcare staff sharp and up to date on latest trends, technologies, and equipment.

During the Skills Fair, 30 stations were put together to address various topics such as infectious control, case management, skin care, rapid response team, diabetes, STD, among others.  Each staff member rotated through the stations to acquire information about a latest treatment or technology. After visiting all the stations, Staff completed a brief exam to proof their competition and assess their knowledge.

Nursing staff also received hands-on training during their annual Skills Fair.  The Skills Fair is offered annually to all health services staff members.
