Texas Emergency Hospital Nurse Recognized with DAISY Award

DAISY Award We are happy to present our third quarter DAISY Award recipient. She is Christine Amsler, RN. Christine has been recognized for her excellent patient care and for demonstrating great positive attitude and professionalism in her workplace.

The award presentation took place via Zoom in a surprise conference call on December 23, 2021. Due to COVID concerns, the ceremony was held virtually.

Christine was recognized for constantly going above and beyond in patient care and for showing great appreciation to her co-workers and staff. She helps double checking everyone making sure to have their back with following procedures. She always takes the time to explain how to do everything. No matter the situation, Christine always puts on her attitude and gets right to the task at hand.

Congratulations Christine! Thank you for all that you do.

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day.

The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of an auto-immune disease in 1999. During his hospitalization, his family appreciated the extraordinary care that nurses demonstrated to Patrick and his entire family. Since then, the DAISY foundation has expanded nationwide and internationally having presence in many countries around the world.
