Welcome to one more issue of our newsletter.
The holiday season is around the corner and so is 2021. 2020 has been an intense year for everyone, full of challenges and situations that no one expected and imagined. Now, we need to focus on how we can face 2020 stronger and more resilient than ever.
Despite the many challenges on 2020, we can gladly say that we are deeply satisfied with all that we have achieved this past year. The support and confidence that we have received from the communities where we operate has been immense. Our communities, patients and employees have shown us their trust and we are immensely grateful for this.
One of the achievements we have seen this year is that we have been able to earn the Center for improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) accreditation, which ensures that patients receive quality care in a safe environment. This distinction represents a lot for us, and it has been possible thanks to the effort, dedication and work of our staff. The accreditation process has been very rigorous and EHS has met all the requirements demonstrating its commitment to meeting high patient-safety standards and quality.
Additionally, we continue with the remodeling of our operating rooms at Texas Emergency Hospital. Our goal is to equip our OR with high-tech equipment, making them more modern and functional. The work will conclude soon, and will be open for our patients and community shortly.
Let’s hope that 2021 holds the best for all of us, and we look forward that the pandemic will come to an end soon.
May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
