Words From Our CEO

Michael T. Adkins RN, BSN, MBA As we enter into the Holiday season, we reflect on the year we have had and the year to come. Emergency Hospital Systems has seen a year of challenges and a year of growth, but most importantly, the year has demonstrated the resolve of every member of the EHS family to provide care to our communities.

Everyone has stepped up to the challenge to meet the unique needs that have been a part of 2021. Unprecedented utilization of our facilities and freezing temperatures were not able to stop all of you from providing care to those in need. We have provided care to those who were ill, and have fought COVID-19 head on by giving nearly 50,000 vaccines to those we serve.
We have added new facilities and expanded the services we offer so more people could receive care in the place that they live. In 2022, we will continue this trend with the opening of our Deerbrook hospital location.

This location will provide emergency and inpatient care, as well as surgical and cardiology services. Additionally, we will be opening surgical services at the Texas Emergency Hospital location.

The new year will be one of more growth and increasing services for EHS and together we will continue to focus on meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

I wish you all a Happy Holiday and a Blessed New Year!
