Words from our CEO

Thank you for your interest in reading our quarterly newsletter. I want to start this article by saying that we are very happy and satisfied with the results obtained so far this year, from a growth standpoint.

Our organization remains strong and in good standing, and this can be seen in the number of procedures and interventions that we have been performing lately, which have had a significant increase in both our ORs and the Cath lab. We are confident that this growth and strength will continue throughout the year.

I’m also very pleased with the opening of our new hospital in Deerbrook and with the changes we have been implementing in the past few weeks. These changes have been for the better and constitute a realignment that will allow us to become more efficient and effective in what we do.

In order to avoid duplication of services and functions, and thus increase our efficiency, we have transferred the operating rooms and other services from the Cleveland Emergency Hospital to the Texas Emergency Hospital keeping only the operations of Texas Emergency Hospital in Cleveland and the Deerbrook Hospital in Humble, as well as The Woodlands and Porter HOPDs. We are very excited about these changes and happy that the transition is running smoothly and without problems.

The increase in COVID cases prompted us to increase our staffing. However, now that the volume of COVID patients has decreased, it is time to return to the original staffing, which will make our operations more efficient.

In the same way, we are very happy and grateful for the work that our doctors have been doing. Thanks to Dr. Bansal, our hospital is performing complex and sophisticated EP procedures. Our expectation is that these types of interventions will become more frequent at all our facilities, making them more accessible to the communities we serve.

Another project we are working on is in the upgrade of the rest of the rooms on the 2nd floor of TEH so that they will soon be operational. We hope that by the end of the summer, we will have a 30-bed licensed hospital at TEH. We are very excited about all that is going on at TEH!!

For the remainder of 2022, we will continue to focus on carrying on more projects, driving our growth and being more efficient and effective on what we do.

Thank you for reading us and for keeping us in your preference.
