Words From Our CEO

Michael T. Atkins RN, BSN, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
Emergency Hospital Systems

As we transition into the Spring season, it’s a time for renewal and growth. At Emergency Hospital Systems, we’ve been busy implementing various changes to our operations to ensure that we can maintain our commitment to providing quality care to the communities we serve.

As part of this ongoing renewal, we’re investing significantly in our facilities, particularly at Texas Emergency Hospital. We’re finalizing plans and securing funding for the Inpatient Nursing Unit’s air conditioning replacement project. This initiative is crucial as it will not only improve environmental controls within the unit but also pave the way for the licensing of additional rooms, ultimately enhancing our capacity to serve more patients effectively.

In addition to facility improvements, we’re focused on expanding our services to offer a broader range of outpatient care options. These services include Cardiology, Surgery, Orthopedics, and
Vascular Surgery. We will continue to grow this aspect of our business in the Cleveland and Deerbrook markets. We’re engaging with local physicians to leverage our exceptional medical staff and ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care possible.

As we look to the future, we’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We remain steadfast in our mission to provide quality healthcare services to our communities through our dedication to continuous improvement and expansion.
